How To Make Your Wedding Really Unique!

Ok, so I know this is suppose to be a wedding decorations idea blog but I have to share this idea (god I wish I thought of this for my wedding!). If you have the courage to do it and your fiance is a bit of a groover then this is perfect for you. So what is it? If you have missed the many You Tube clips of couples first dance that have been hitting the news for the last couple of ideas then you better check this one out that I have found.

The idea is halfway through your formal dance, the music (unexpectantly for your guests) changes to something fast and funky and you and your partner surprise your guests with a pre-rehersed dance routine that makes them go wild! Its heaps of fun and will have your guests cheering for more! You can take private lessons at a dance school...it only needs to be 1-2 mins long or work out a routine at home! This idea is an excellent way to break up the formalities of the first half of your reception and bring on the party atmostphere for the rest of the night. Click here for one of my favorites! Crank up your sound and enjoy!!

How To Make Your Wedding Cake Stand Out!

Visiting wedding websites is probably the easiest and fastest way to get access to some really beautiful ideas. The problem is finding the websites to go to! One that you can surely get some great ideas and from where todays great idea comes from is http://www.marthastewart.com/. The queen of beauty and great ideas I visit her site regularly to check out the "real weddings" section to see what amazing ideas are out there.

Todays "Great Wedding Idea" is pictured here. I found it when visiting the real weddings section of Martha's site this is from Anna and Masons wedding located in Pasadena. You see a lot of time is put into the decoration of the cake but by the time the evening comes the cake can look a little dull from the low lighting around it. To ensure it stands out like it should I suggest placing a lot of beautiful t-lite votives around the base of your cake as pictured here. Place this at the front and the side of the cake so when it is time for you to cut it the t-lites wont be in your way and obstruct it. This simple idea will give a beautiful warm glow to your cake and will ensure it gets the attention it deserves PLUS it will also look great in your photos. Votives are rougly .50cent-$1 each including the t-lite candle (you can get them cheaper too)! Its perhaps the cheapest decoration you'll do for your entire wedding and I highly recommend it to add more "wow" to your evening!
